"Diana Vreeland after Diana Vreeland"

Maria Luisa Frisa

Besides just amazing fashion shows, I also attended super inspiring and exiting events during Milan Fashion Week and I'll try to share you all my impressions here, on my blog!;)
On 24-th of February at Photo Fashion Gallery - Corridor And Stairs (It's in the heart of Milan's high fashion area, and consists a long corridor and four floors of stairs. It's a cultural spinal column rising up through Mauro Grifoni's building which flanks his designer outlet) I was invited on super cool opening presentation of the exhibition "Diana Vreeland after Diana Vreeland" curated by fashion critic Maria Luisa Frisa and Judith Clark, ordered by Lisa Immordino Vreeland (Diana Vreeland is her grandmother-in-law) and supported by Fondazione dei Musei Civivi of Venice and by Diana Vreeland estate.
At the presentation we were able to see enlivened series of words particularly dear to iconic editor of Vogue US - Diana Vreeland, together with images and snapshots that give a foretaste of the fully articulated grammer to be seen in Palazzo Fortuny.
For this occasion, Mauro Grifoni, who is also the partner of the Venetian exhibition, has produced a limited edition of  T-shirts devoted to Diana Vreeland and bearing the five words that are the title of the presentation:
 BIZARRE, COLORQUAKE, FLAMBOYANT, PERSONALITIES, ALLURE
