So, I'm back and you my dear readers are able to enjoy my last Paris Haute Couture experience. I'll try to share all the highlights of the week (hope you already had a glance to my first post: White Drama - Comme des Garcons exhibition in Paris).
And now details from just stunning Elie Saab Couture show:
Designer transformed models, headed by Carlie Closs, to the real goddess and presented Haute Cauture A/W-2012/13 collection in the mood for imperial splendor. Mainly silk organza, guipure and lace dresses were in a palette of champagne to smoky gray, soft pink or sky blue, peacock, antiqued gold and jade were adorned with so many precious stones.
Opulent silhouette or heavily fallen peplum decorated dresses were emphasized at the waist by thin shimmering girdles, opened at the back or showing skin of decollete, maybe just splited deeply in front.
The final chord was crowned with the beyond fabulous bridal gown, the real unaltered dream dress of every girl was made in organza embossed with gold brocade and shimmering with silver reflections.
Once and for all Elie Saab Haute Couture A/W-2012/13 was real "must see" of the week.
Bravo!
